Wage: $22-24/ hr

Refugee Women’s Network (RWN) Refugee Women’s Network (RWN) is a 501c3
organization serving refugees and Immigrants resettled in the state of Georgia. RWN inspires
and equips refugee and immigrant women to become leaders in their homes, businesses, and
communities. For more than 25 years, we’ve continued to be the only organization in Georgia
that specifically serves refugee women.
We are women of color, immigrant, and refugee-led organization, with a mission to support
women survivors of war, conflict, and displacement in overcoming cultural and systemic barriers
to achieving healthy, self-sufficient, and fulfilling lives. We work to address these barriers
through culturally sensitive, community-led grassroots responses that meet women where they
are. We do this through uplifting community-driven grassroots solutions.

Purpose:
The Entrepreneurship Development Program Coordinator (EDPC) is responsible for
building upon and developing a concept of the Entrepreneurship Development Program within
RWN to support the organization’s mission … inspires and equips refugee and immigrant
women to become leaders in their homes, businesses, and communities. In this process the EDC
will consult and collaborate with RWN stakeholders, program participants, funders, and
individuals. The Entrepreneurship Development Program Coordinator (EDPC)empowers
refugee and immigrant women with the knowledge and resources to become economically self-
reliant facilitating entrepreneurship opportunities and access to educational and financial literacy
training programs. The duties and responsibilities of the position are to be carried out in a
manner that is consistent with the mission, values, and operating principles of RWN.
Duties of the Entrepreneurship Development Program Coordinator (EDPC)
● Assist in development of a concept plan for Entrepreneurship Development Program at RWN
in consultation with other staff, Chef’s Club Program Participants, other similar programs,
and stakeholders in the community.
● Map and research opportunities, market research and trends, identification of priorities,
and RWN’s unique positioning
● Liaise and collaborate with banks, refugee-serving organizations, business incubation
centers, mentors, training institutions, the private sector, and other project partners and
assist in the smooth implementation of the project.
● Assist in establishing entrepreneurship program, Chefs Club, and microenterprise support
to increase access to business development training for women who would like to
establish or grow an existing small business
● Oversee the kitchen management.
● Assist in holding certification programs for women in the Economic Empowerment
Program with strategic planning and partnerships
● Assist in tracking progress of the program and complete reports for funders.
● Write articles regarding programs for newsletters and assist in developing and improving
the marketing materials.
● Research and contribute to writing grant proposals for the Program.
● Other tasks as needed designated by Program Manager
Qualifications:
Integrity, high ethical standards, and commitment to diversity and women’s empowerment.
Minimum of an associate degree in related discipline required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Ability to provide culturally sensitive service is required.
Experience linking program participants (Chefs) to a broad range of related resources to
refugees and immigrants required.
Passion for refugee, women’s issues and experiences and a good team player.
Informed about refugee and immigrant issues, and available services to program participants
Strong Internet research and computer skills, especially with MS word, Canva, and social
media.
Familiar with and appreciative of issues related to people with diverse cultures and
languages.
Fluency in language spoken by refugee groups settled in GA is preferred.
Ability to travel with a valid driver’s license and work on weekends as needed.
